AN ART SCHOOL DRAWING FROM 1963… FROM FUTURE 3rd BOOK

From the soon to come… DAILY DRAW III… An Artist’s Journey, with the entry that I made about the memories and thoughts of the drawing when I found it two years ago;

THE DISCIPLINE PAYS OFF… AND SUDDENLY YOU GOT IT!

The daily discipline of any art teaches one foundation and structure.
After so many pencil miles you intuitively know the proportions… or as a musician, the scales… or chords… or as a writer, vocabulary and writing structure… and then one day in the cafeteria with friends you’re just goofing around… and it all comes together and you’re doing your thing and having fun… it’s not work or struggle… and you find the inner ‘art’ of it… and it’s really a nice feeling.

Last drawing... first book...

My delightful friend and spiritual guide… Magdalene the Muse… is nudging me to get this Studio blog going… so, here we are…

…let’s start with the final drawing of my first self published book;

She is either telling me to get with it and put all these past drawings into a self published book… or to join a monastery… or to stop smoking my pipe… Fat chance on the last two options… so, I’ll be working on this book for a while. I will try and continue to post something daily but if I miss here and there, please be patient, dear viewer… I’ll be back.
